I didn’t get to talk a lot or take pictures I’m not feeling well, but this food and service definitely gave me a boost for today, came all the way from Slidell to eat here.
I’m a California Native who has traveled this country in search of the best authentic Mexican cuisine, I have over 26 years of restaurant experience. I was honestly very impressed with the tacos, the salsas and the cleanliness of the kitchen. The concept is similar to Chipotle and is a fast-casual style restaurant. They have a full bar menu and bar seating, if that interests you. Yes, the parking lot is small, but I can assure you as a restaurant consultant, that 99% of local restaurants have a parking issue on their hands. I parked down the street and took a short stroll on a beautiful day and was able to enjoy some slamming tacos and a sangria for under 25.
Food was well made, we got it to go but it was still fresh when we ate it. Chicken was not at all dry, which happens at so many other places. Order was made quickly. Will be returning!
Best frozen margs!! Love the food as well. Me and my family and friends have been coming for the longest time and still enjoy the food service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
This place was a really nice place to go out and eat with my friends, the food was amazing, we weren’t disturbed, we honestly just had a great time, I would definitely recommend this place and I am definitely going here again! The one person that I honestly loved was Marcos, he was funny, kind, and honestly just great!
The burritos here are worth bragging about. Very nice place including the employees. Get your burrito assembled like you like it right before your eyes. The taste is a party going on in your mouth thereafter biting into it. The pork carnita burrito is what I got and I'll be returning again.
I’m always pleased with Felipe’s. The staff us polite, the drinks are good, and the food even better.
My mouth gets so wet when I reminisce my meal here. I would give my liver for a Felipe to bless north Louisiana with one of his restaurants. His tacos tantalize me and his carnitas evoke carnal emotions.
